As Growth Marketing Director will own the mandate to grow our entry level and self-service business. The role combines both strategic analysis and planning along with more tactical execution. This role will be the owner of our overall approach to both measuring and growing our entry level business. The director of growth will track the entire customer lifecycle including lead generation, conversions, adoption, renewals and up-sell to our mid-market and enterprise offerings. This role will initially be an individual contributor, but we expect that the growth team will rapidly expand. This function will work with the teams across the company that touch the customer at every step of the process. In particular, this role will work closely with the demand generation, product marketing, product management and developer awareness teams.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

  • Analysis of the customer lifecycle, including the identification of leading and lagging indicators for success across each stage.  
  • Prioritization of where our largest opportunities are for growing the business
  • Partnering with functional owners to build plans for how we can address these opportunities and A/B test the impact
  • Assisting in the execution of the above plans where needed (as a result, this role will require a broad skill set)
  • Reporting to the executive team on both the plan and progress towards our growth goals

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU:

  • 8+ years of experience spanning growth/growth marketing, product marketing, product management and demand generation
  • Past experiences in businesses with a low touch / no touch sales model
  • Have an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset
  • Are someone that works well in teams and are good at influencing others
  • Have a passion for the customer experience and enjoy digging into the details to learn what is really going on
  • Are looking for a role where you can grow and will work on a variety of projects across the year

ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Past experience as a developer (our end users are often developers)
  • An MBA is a plus, but not required
  • Past experience in search, e-commerce or media are also preferred, but not required
