Required Skills

The Director - Marketing Operations will lead key initiatives and programs across the marketing team to drive process improvement and service delivery. In this highly cross-functional role, your goal will be to operationalize marketing’s strategy, scale the team’s operating model globally, and create efficient and effective ways of working.

What You’ll Be Doing

    • Create, analyze, and optimize marketing processes on an ongoing basis by working closely with the Marketing Leadership Team and maintaining the IMAX Marketing operational playbook
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to build process (including working documents, roles and responsibilities, communication flow, chain of command, escalation plans, etc.)
    • Working with the Marketing Leadership Team, create and maintain KPI scorecards enabling visibility into overarching trends among varied projects and processes to help increase efficiency, profitability, quality, etc. in ‘how’ we get it done
    • Build project timelines and collaborate with the cross-functional teams on meeting the execution timing on key project activities. Keep projects on task and on time
    • Take ownership of and maintenance of all marketing software/tools for tracking marketing work to help create visibility and efficiency across the Marketing team
    • Monitor feedback from the marketing team to improve process and promote efficiency by analyzing campaign performance and helping Directors with operational adjustments
    • Liaison between marketing and operational departments
    • Strong grasp of collaboration and asset management tools including slack and
    • Excellent presentation, communication and analysis skills
    • Ability to handle multiple layers of team building and operations-based initiatives effectively in a high-pressured environment
    • Ability to forge excellent internal communication with team members and able to build excellent professional working relationships
    • Candidates should be strategic, innovative, detail-oriented and resourceful

What We’re Looking For

      • Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience, previous experience working in marketing is highly preferred
      • Proven track record developing and executing change management strategies with the ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
      • Strong project management skills which include delivering all projects on time and within scope by leading and managing cross-functional teams.
      • Proven ability to build systems and operations-based strategies and communication flows that are efficient and drive success for the team
      • Handle numerous projects and worked in the frenetic pace of marketing
      • Managed Operational Process and built road-maps, timelines
      • Experience with marketing technology, operational tools, work-stream management software programs and automation systems
      • Worked in data analytics and operations activities
      • Strong proficiency in standard Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer) required
