Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.
Marcom is seeking a strategic leader to help drive our planning and execution of marketing communications for an important group of Apple’s brands / products. You will be a primary partner with key executives across the company, leading all global marketing communications within Marcom.You will join an established strategic and creative organization and work across the Marcom functional groups, which specialize in Design, Interactive, 3D, Visual Merchandising, Channel, Advertising, etc. You will be a primary partner with the Apple Product Marketing organizations, PR, Business and many other key partners, working together to craft strategic marketing plans.
You have 12-15 years of experience working on global brands, and you have proven expertise in developing marketing that encompasses a broad range of marketing and messaging vehicles.
You can deliver marketing communication goals in your brand or area of expertise, and you are able to prioritize efforts based on business need.
You have effectively worked with executive teams and/or C-suite stakeholders; demonstrating curiosity, confidence, and the ability to listen with intent to find solutions.
You are an enthusiastic leader who can inspire and drive a team through complex and ambiguous situations.
You can balance working in a creatively driven organization with an analytical and focused approach to marketing, and you can support, understand, and improve the creative process.
You are self-motivated and flexible with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
You have superlative written and verbal skills as well as excellent presentation skills.
You have a passion for socially based initiatives.
We are responsible for delivery of the marketing communications plans.
We partner with leadership teams in Marcom and throughout Apple to ensure alignment on priorities, strategy and objectives.
We help to drive the strategy, brief, and focus for teams throughout Marcom.
We work with local (international) Apple teams to provide strategic and creative direction for communications.
We deliver new approaches to the planning, development, and execution of Apple’s communications in our given brand or area expertise, including working to develop process, structure and staffing, resources, and external support.
We enthusiastically build rapport, credibility, and influence, and we get results throughout the organization at all levels and across departments in a highly matrixed organization.
We use our strong strategic and creative point of view to act as advocates within the Marcom community in order to push work forward.
We demonstrate creativity in problem solving, dynamic and unconventional thinking, and quick adaptation to new technical areas.
We promote innovation and new technology to further improve our creative output.
Education & Experience
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
